Yes. Ole Rum Bar is Taiwan's first rum bar. We opened in 2016 as OLE Tapas, when rum was still unknown in Taiwan. We started with food, introduced rum little by little, and began importing rum ourselves in 2017. Many rum bars opened after us and closed; Ole is still here, now in Shilin with 600 to 900 rums.

What is rum?什麼是蘭姆酒？
Rum is a spirit made from sugarcane. Most is made from molasses (Jamaica, Barbados, Guyana). Rhum agricole is made from fresh cane juice (Martinique). Tropical heat ages rum faster than whisky ages in Scotland.
蘭姆酒是以甘蔗製成的烈酒。多數以糖蜜製成（牙買加、巴貝多、蓋亞那），農業型蘭姆酒 Rhum Agricole 則以新鮮甘蔗汁製成（馬丁尼克）。熱帶氣候讓蘭姆酒熟成得比蘇格蘭威士忌更快。
What makes Ole different from other bars?Ole 和其他酒吧有什麼不同？
Chef Alain Mona grew up across the rum islands (Seychelles, Mauritius, Réunion, Martinique, New Caledonia) and taught at Lenôtre in France. We import independent and original bottlings ourselves, so you can taste rare rums at the bar and take a bottle home from the 1F shop.
主廚 Alain Mona 在塞席爾、模里西斯、留尼旺、馬丁尼克、新喀里多尼亞等蘭姆酒之島長大，曾在法國雷諾特 Lenôtre 廚藝學校任教。我們自己進口獨立裝瓶與原廠裝瓶的蘭姆酒，讓你在酒吧品嚐稀有酒款，還能在1F專賣店買一瓶帶回家。
What food do you serve?有什麼餐點？
Spanish tapas and BBQ, cooked by the chef. Set menus: MENU FUN NT$1,600 and MENU NOMACASE NT$2,600, per person. These are food menus only: drinks are not included.

Is there a minimum spend?有最低消費嗎？
It depends on where you sit. BBQ bar: one food set menu per person. Bar counter and sofa area: NT$500 per person on drinks. Chef's table: NT$40,000 food minimum, drinks charged separately.

Yes. 10 seats, by reservation only, NT$40,000 food minimum, planned course by course with the chef. Drinks are charged separately.
